Downhill2k01 (also known as Damage Cloud and DJ Wellwater) is an electronic musician, multimedia art project, and DJ based in DFW, Texas. Their work explores how technology influences artistic and personal expression in the digital age, with a strong focus on new-media aspects of Internet-influenced music and subcultures.

Using FL Studio, they blend genres like IDM, Vaporwave, Ambient, Jungle, Cloud Rap, and more, highlighting the raw, minimal sounds of DIY computer music. Their music features precise drum programming, MIDI synths, airy pads, computer sound effects, and video game-inspired synth tones. They also create visual art using GIMP, inspired by early web art and demoscene aesthetics, often incorporating found clip art.

Downhill2k01 has collaborated with artists like Cartier God, LSDXOXO, and Manwolves, and is a well-known figure in the local club scene, DJing Jungle DnB, Jersey Club, and Electro using Rekordbox. While not formally part of any collectives, they are connected with DFW groups such as Theystas, Techno Hoochies, and Bassline Brigade.

They also run a small-batch solo Dungeon Synth and Jungle record label, called Harsh Light Records, producing CDs and cassettes for Downhill2k01 and Damage Cloud projects.
