Downhill2k01 (sometimes known as Damage Cloud and DJ Wellwater) is a DFW-based electronic musician, composer, and artist exploring isolation, deindividuation, and 20th- and 21st-century cyber-culture.

Downhill2k01 is a metacontextualist project that examines persistent digital memory, on-line ritual structures, pseudoreligion, symbolic systems, and organized frameworks rather than specific narrative content. Graphics made in GIMP.

Made in FL Studio, the music contrasts simple, airy soft-synth & raw MIDI melodies with complex and jittering electronic percussion, drawing from Drill 'n' Bass, Ambient Jungle, Vaportrap, Footwork/Juke, and Utopian Virtual.
